The Consultation 2 (2020) period is now open from Tuesday 18th February 2020 until Monday 30th March 2020. We have written to a range of statutory bodies and groups within the Ilkley area to invite their responses to to the INDP and ISP. If you have not been invited to comment and believe you should have been, please contact the Deputy Clerk on [email protected]

The Ilkley Neighbourhood Development Plan (INDP) is a new type of plan which allows local people to help shape the future development of Ilkley. It is concerned with land use planning and development. If successful at referendum the INDP will sit alongside CBMDC’s statutory local plan for development across the district. This means decisions on planning applications for Ilkley will be made using both the local plan and the INDP.

The Ilkley Neighbourhood Development Plan has been prepared by a Committee of town councillors and experienced volunteers including members of the Ilkley Design Statement Group, Ilkley Civic Society, Ben Rhydding Action Group and Climate Action Ilkley. A specialist consultant has also been employed to assist this Committee.

The Consultation 2019/2020 period begins on Tuesday 18th February 2020 and ends on Monday 30th March 2020.

During this consultation we want to hear your views. We want you to get involved and help shape the future of Ilkley.
